Our Story
The current generation of the Coca family is made up of three siblings who found their passion for shoes at an early age through the work of our father. Channelling this passion into continually evolving iterations of Coca family design and craft, we established a self-run workshop in their native country Romania, where we could personally invest ourselves in the creation and production of each and every shoe. In the early years of the Louis Coca brand, most of our shoes were exported to Italy, where patrons appreciated fine craft, quality of materials and attention to detail above all else. It was there, in a market that does not allow for compromises, that we developed our whole-hearted and no-expenses-spared approach to shoemaking.
In 2019, we made the big move to our new office and showroom in Camden, London, one of the hippest locations in the world, where we seek to break the barriers between fun fashion and fine European craft by bringing modern, everyday designs up to the highest level of quality.
Our Camden store is now closed as we move on to online selling; no matter where we take our designs, we commit to caring for every detail in the process of shoemaking and using materials that are worthy to our dedication to the craft. By doing this, we aim to bring a real sense of luxury to your daily wear. We are proud of every shoe we make and we hope that you are proud to wear them too.
